This class focused on being in the flow of life through examining certain aspects of Yesod (Foundation). Being in the flow is about devoting our power, creativity, and procreativity to serving the Divine. If our foundation is ego based, or the ego takes over at certain times, we will use our power to serve the needs of the ego. When we devote ourselves out of our love for God to serving that love, we are saying, “Yes!” to being in the Divine flow, the river of abundance that is the essence of life.

This class focuses on the power of love through the sefirah of Chesed. It is a cliché that love can overcome anything. Spiritually the power of acts of Chesed, in effect acts of love, have an impact that ultimately can change the world.

The focus of this class was on an aspect of Chochmah (wisdom) we touched upon last year around Yom Kippur. At that time, we discussed the ritual of the High Priest entering the Holy of Holies on that day. The inside of it acted as a perfect mirror. To do his job well, the High Priest needed to be able to see himself fully and be able to stand in that seeing completely.
When you look in the mirror, chances are a few voices will show up in your head telling you what you see. Do your best to ignore them and see yourself with fresh eyes. Be open to seeing yourself in a different way. Let’s go through the Tree of Life as we hold a mirror to ourselves and explore how we see ourselves.
